    Oh my goodness girl, I'm still getting the hang of this blogging thing. I just discovered this "comment". What a moron I am!

    To answer your questions...my table is one of a pair that were my Grandmother's actually! No, I didn't paint it. It lives in its original finish from who knows when. The top of it is pretty chippy but I just can't bring myself to touch it.

    As for the couch, Gary and I got it (and 2 chairs) at a place called "Trappings Too!". I'm not sure they're still in business but I know since then there were new owners. They advertise as having Pottery Barn and Ballard Designs STYLE furniture at much lower prices, sold in a wherehouse type setting, no fancy showroom.

    Well, I have no idea if you'll ever get my response comment but I'm just too excited not to respond to a comment on my unknown blog. ha-ha!!
